St. Peter residents offered free UWI scholarships
St. Peter MP Rawdon Turner has announced 20 fully funded scholarships for constituents.
The scholarships will cover selected short courses at the University of the West Indies Global Campus, Antigua.
According to Turner, the programme aims to create more opportunities for residents of St. Peter. Therefore, he encouraged interested people to apply early.
The application period opened on April 13. It will continue until May 15, 2026.
Meanwhile, classes are expected to begin during the week of May 25. Each course will run for 10 weeks.
Several study areas are available through the programme. These include supervisory management and customer service management.
In addition, applicants may choose financial management essentials and management essentials. Project management is also included.
The programme also offers courses in human resource management and entrepreneurship. Furthermore, residents can apply for family and community work studies.
