18-YEAR-OLD BARBUDAN REMANDED ON MULTIPLE BREAKING AND BURGLARY CHARGES

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, September 29, 2026

Aaron Williams of Barbuda has been remanded to His Majesty’s Prison after appearing before the Magistrate’s Court in Barbuda on multiple breaking and burglary charges.

He appeared before Magistrate Mighty on Tuesday, 29 September facing four separate charges arising from incidents reported on the sister isle between September 17 and September 25.

On September 17, he is accused of breaking into the dwelling house of a woman with intent to commit a felony, namely larceny.
He was further charged with breaking and entering the dwelling house of a man on September 23 and stealing two Samsung cellular phones and other property with a combined value of approximately EC$3,215.

Williams was also charged with burglary in connection with a separate incident that allegedly occurred on September 24.
In another matter, he is accused of breaking into the dwelling house of a man on September 25 with intent to commit a felony.

Following his court appearance, Williams was remanded to His Majesty’s Prison. He is due to return to court on December 18, 2026.
