Ottos Comprehensive School Drama Festival Dominates Drama Festival Awards
Ottos Comprehensive School Drama Festival led the 9th Secondary Schools Drama Festival. The school topped major awards in drama and spirit categories.
Firstly, the event took place at the Sir John E. St. Luce Conference Centre. Moreover, eleven secondary schools competed. They took part in drama and dance events.
In addition, the festival ran for one week. It highlighted youth creativity across Antigua and Barbuda.

Ottos Comprehensive School Drama Festival team dominated the drama category. The school won eight of eighteen awards.
Jeremiah Joseph won Best Actor. Leana Fields won Best Actress. Both also earned theatre scholarships.
In addition, Joel Bridges won Best Supporting Actor. The school also won Best Original Script. It further secured Best Teenage Script.
Moreover, the team won Best Directing. It also won Best Sound Effects. It completed its sweep with Best Set Design.

Jada-Linn James won Most Promising Female Dancer. Christopher Lee from St. Mary’s won Most Promising Male Dancer.
Additionally, Antigua Grammar School won Best Solo Dance. Jennings Secondary won duet and improvisation awards.
Furthermore, Sir Novelle Richards Academy won choreography and group performance awards. Therefore, the competition stayed wide.

Ottos Comprehensive School Drama Festival also dominated spirit awards. The school won Drama Spirit of the Festival.
It also won Overall Spirit of the Festival. Meanwhile, Sir Novelle Richards Academy won Dance Spirit Award.
In addition, the Tyrel Buckley Memorial Award went to Zayell Thomas. His mother presented the award.
