The Antigua and Barbuda Coast Guard has suspended its search for three fishermen who were reported missing at sea following an extensive rescue operation.

Rowel Martin, Gregory Questelles and Cleofoster Jarvis were last seen leaving Point Wharf aboard the Lady Madesha on July 16. They were expected to return on July 18. Search teams spent several days covering a wide area by air and sea in an effort to locate the men, but were unable to find any trace of them. The operation involved multiple assets and personnel working around the clock.

Officials said the decision to suspend the search was made after exhausting available leads and completing a thorough assessment of the search area.

The news has been difficult for the families and loved ones of the missing fishermen, who continue to hope for answers as authorities monitor for any new information that could assist the case.
