Police officers from the Cayman Islands have arrived in Antigua and Barbuda and begun settling into their security roles ahead of the 2026 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

The deployment forms part of wider regional cooperation to support security arrangements for the gathering, which will bring Commonwealth leaders and other delegates to Antigua from November 1–4.

The visiting officers are working alongside local personnel as authorities prepare for the event. Their presence reflects the security coordination taking place among regional partners ahead of the high-level meeting.

Antigua and Barbuda has been increasing preparations for CHOGM, with visiting security teams expected to assist in maintaining safety during the event.
