Antigua and Barbuda Set for Pickleball World Cup
Antigua and Barbuda will be represented at the upcoming Pickleball World Cup, marking another milestone for the rapidly growing sport in the country.
The nine member team is set to compete from August 30th to September 6th in Da Nang, Vietnam. Team members are Anna-Maria Joseph, Barbara Coates, Irina Barrett, Kemoir Martin, Myra Francis, Mike Evans, Michael Lindsay, Karim Harrigan and Satyajit Behera.
The tournament is expected to feature top athletes from numerous countries, giving Antiguan and Barbudan players valuable experience against high-level competition.
Team representatives are optimistic about the opportunity and hope their participation will help inspire greater interest and growth in the sport at home.
