Para-sport development will be highlighted at CHOGM, where Jamaican Paralympian Alphanso “Ambassador” Cunningham will take his advocacy for inclusion, equality, and greater opportunities for athletes with disabilities.

The presentation is expected to address ways to strengthen participation in adaptive sports and create more inclusive pathways for athletes to develop their skills and compete.

The discussions will also bring attention to the importance of improving access, support and opportunities for people with disabilities within the sporting community.

The event provides a platform for stakeholders to consider how para-sport can be developed further and integrated into broader regional sporting initiatives.
