MP Kiz Johnson Pledges Continued Service to Constituents
MP Kiz Johnson says he remains committed to serving the people of St. Philip’s South after officially taking the Parliamentary Oath. Moreover, MP Kiz Johnson promised to serve with “passion, courage, and action.”
In a statement issued on Monday, the Member of Parliament described the occasion as a moment of honor and responsibility. He also said the oath carried deep meaning and purpose.
According to MP Kiz Johnson, he does not take the responsibility lightly. Instead, he said he plans to continue representing the hopes and aspirations of constituents in St. Philip’s South.
“I carry with me the hopes, voices, and aspirations of the people of St. Philip’s South,” he said.
The newly sworn-in parliamentarian also described his role as more than just a title. Furthermore, he called it a promise to continue delivering for communities across the constituency.
MP Kiz Johnson stressed the importance of public service and community representation. As a result, he said his focus remains on serving the people who placed their trust in him.

The ceremony forms part of the official start of parliamentary duties following the general election. In addition, newly elected representatives are expected to begin work on behalf of their constituencies immediately after the process.
