Antigua and Barbuda and Azerbaijan have reached a new agreement aimed at making travel between the two countries easier for eligible citizens.

Foreign Affairs Minister E.P. Chet Greene signed the agreement with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during diplomatic meetings held alongside the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The agreement forms part of Antigua and Barbuda’s wider diplomatic engagements during its UN visit. Greene also held meetings with officials from several countries on matters including regional relations and Antigua and Barbuda’s diplomatic priorities.

The two governments have not yet announced specific implementation details or the date when the new travel arrangement will take effect.
