PM Gaston Browne says he has never denied duty-free vehicle waivers. He made the statement during ongoing public debate. Moreover, he signaled support for clearer rules.

Speaking on Pointe FM’s Browne and Browne Show, Browne defended the current system. He said it allows broad access to concessions. In addition, he stressed fairness in how approvals are handled.

“I have never ever refused anybody,” Browne said. He noted this covers his nearly 12 years in office. Therefore, he believes the process has been inclusive.
