Antigua and Barbuda to Host Caribbean Travel Marketplace Again in 2026

Antigua and Barbuda is making history by hosting the Caribbean Travel Marketplace for a second consecutive year in 2026, reinforcing its growing influence in the regional tourism industry. The event is set for May 12-15 and is one of the Caribbean’s leading tourism business gatherings, bringing together buyers and suppliers from across the globe.

The marketplace will attract tourism officials, hotel operators, travel agents, and international partners, all looking to strengthen business relationships and secure new opportunities. It serves as a key platform for negotiating deals and promoting Caribbean destinations to global markets.

Minister for Tourism Charles Fernandez expressed his pride. “To be asked to host for a second year running is not just an honor; it is a validation.” he said. Hosting the event again highlights Antigua and Barbuda’s strong infrastructure, hospitality capacity, and ability to manage large-scale international events. It also reflects confidence in the country’s tourism sector and its continued recovery and growth.

The event is expected to deliver significant economic benefits, including increased visibility, business activity, and long-term partnerships that support the wider Caribbean tourism industry.
