TEVIN WILLOCK SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR AMMUNITION POSSESSION

Tevin Willock of Grays Farm has been sentenced to ten months and twenty days in prison after pleading guilty to possession of ammunition.

Willock appeared before Chief Magistrate Emanuel at the St. John’s Magistrates’ Court on Friday, September 25, charged with possession of twelve rounds of 9mm ammunition.
He pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to ten months and twenty days’ imprisonment, with the court taking the applicable sentencing guidelines into consideration.

The charge arose from an incident at Perry Bay on September 4, 2026, which resulted in Willock being arrested and subsequently charged by the police.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda continues its efforts to remove illegal firearms and ammunition from the streets and reminds the public that the unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition is a criminal offence.
