Caridocs Launches Bulk Application Day for Jamaicans
Caridocs will host a Bulk Application Day for Jamaican nationals living in Antigua and Barbuda next month. Moreover, the event aims to help applicants avoid delays and costly mistakes when processing important documents from Jamaica.
The session will take place on June 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Villa Polyclinic Conference Room. Therefore, Jamaican nationals needing help with document processing can receive direct guidance during the event.
According to Caridocs, many Jamaicans in Antigua continue to face problems when applying for immigration, residency, and other official services. In addition, applicants often struggle with high costs, processing delays, and confusion over document requirements.
Caridocs operates as a Caribbean-based document processing and immigrant support service. However, the organization stressed that it is not a government agency. Instead, it works as a facilitator between applicants and official institutions.
Principal consultant Nevoy Morrison said many applicants unknowingly submit incomplete or improperly authenticated documents. As a result, applications often face rejection or long delays.
“Many applicants don’t realize that documents must be apostilled before submission,” Morrison explained.
He added that applicants sometimes restart the entire process after documents are rejected. Consequently, this creates extra expenses and unnecessary stress.
Caridocs said one major issue involves apostille and legalization requirements through Jamaica’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. These steps help validate documents for international use.
Therefore, the organization developed a system to help applicants complete requirements correctly the first time. The goal is to reduce errors and improve processing efficiency.
During the Bulk Application Day, attendees will receive help understanding requirements and preparing submissions properly. In addition, applicants can learn how to avoid common mistakes that slow applications.
Caridocs also warned people against using unofficial “back door” services promising fast-tracked documents. The organization said such offers may be fraudulent and could create serious legal problems.
Officials stressed that all legitimate documents must go through proper legal channels and official authentication processes.
