CARICOM Chairman and Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, has called for deeper regional integration that produces meaningful and visible benefits for Caribbean people.

Speaking on the future of regional cooperation, Holness emphasized that integration efforts must move beyond policy discussions and translate into real improvements in the lives of citizens. He stressed the importance of ensuring that people can experience the advantages of regional unity through increased opportunities, economic growth, and improved services.

The CARICOM Chairman also highlighted the need for member states to work together to address shared challenges, including trade, security, climate resilience, and economic development. He noted that stronger collaboration can help create a more prosperous and resilient Caribbean.

His remarks come as regional leaders continue to explore ways to strengthen cooperation and advance initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for people across the Caribbean Community.
