Antiguan Footballers Shine in Season Opener
Five Antiguan footballers made an impressive start to their season with Steven Gerrard Academy, helping the team secure a convincing 9–1 victory in its opening game.
Malik Charles, Jonathan Shoy, Jermarion Edwards, Josue Arias and Dejarnie Moore all featured as the Academy opened the season with a strong performance.
Charles led the scoring with a hat-trick, while Arias and Edwards also got on the scoresheet. Their contributions helped the team to a dominant victory and gave the Antiguan players an early opportunity to make their mark.
The result highlights the continued progress of the five young footballers as they develop their skills and compete at the international level.
