Antigua and Barbuda is preparing to host the Premier Ligue Cricket Festival from August 20-25, an event designed to bring together cricket enthusiasts, players, and visitors for a unique blend of sport and tourism.

The festival is expected to feature competitive cricket, cultural experiences, and entertainment activities, offering participants an opportunity to enjoy the destination while celebrating the game. It will be held at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons will play four home fixtures during the tournament, facing the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Trinbago Knight Riders, Guyana Amazon Warriors, and Barbados Tridents. All matches begin at 7 p.m. local time.

The festival is expected to contribute to the local economy while further strengthening Antigua and Barbuda’s reputation as a leading Caribbean destination for both cricket and sports tourism.
