Antigua and Barbuda Wins Caribbean Dinghy Championship 2025
Antigua and Barbuda has won the Caribbean Dinghy Championship once again, making it their sixth straight victory. The competition took place at the Antigua Yacht Club and brought together sailors from across the Caribbean for three days of exciting races.
Team Antigua showed strong skill and teamwork, beating tough competitors like St. Maarten and Trinidad & Tobago. Several Antiguan sailors also won top spots in their classes. The event was memorable not only for the racing but for history made by Ammarilla Henry, the first para-athlete to earn a podium finish.
Leaders praised the event for promoting sportsmanship, unity, and inspiring the next generation of sailors. The championship ended with a joyful prize ceremony and celebration, highlighting the close bond between Caribbean sailing communities.
