Thirty-year-old Anthony Joe of Cassada Gardens has been arrested and charged with stealing three bunches of coconuts (valued at $500) and a quantity of avocados (valued at $400) from an elderly man’s property in Crosbies between August 28 and 29. He is expected to appear in court this week following police investigations.

The Police Administration stressed that praedial larceny is a serious offence that damages farmers, property owners, and the agricultural sector—and poses a threat to food security. Residents are urged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station immediately.
