DCA

DCA offices will close temporarily on Thursday, 14th May and Friday, 15th May 2026. Meanwhile, the agency says the move supports internal restructuring work.

The Development Control Authority issued a public notice on the closure. It advised all members of the public about the temporary service interruption.

During this period, no in-person services will be available. Therefore, customers must plan for any urgent matters.

In addition, the DCA confirmed that normal operations will resume on Monday, 18th May 2026. Regular services will continue from that date.

The agency explained that the closure is necessary to support internal restructuring. However, it did not provide further details on the changes.

Meanwhile, the DCA thanked the public for understanding. It also asked for cooperation during the temporary disruption.

Furthermore, officials said the restructuring aims to improve service delivery. As a result, the organization expects better efficiency in the future.

The notice came from the Development Control Authority. It was signed by Public Relations Officer Mr. Glenville Dixon Jr.

In addition, the DCA encouraged the public to stay informed about updates. Any further announcements will follow through official channels.

Customers who rely on DCA services should note the closure dates carefully. Therefore, planning ahead may help avoid delays.

The authority did not announce any emergency service alternatives during the shutdown. However, it confirmed that operations will resume fully after the break.

Meanwhile, staff will use the closure period to carry out internal work. This includes restructuring activities within the organization.

The DCA reiterated its commitment to improving public service. It said the temporary closure supports that long-term goal.

Finally, the agency expressed appreciation to the public once again. It assured residents that services will return to normal on Monday, 18th May.
