Kelton Dalso has been selected as the United Progressive Party (UPP) caretaker for St. George.
The announcement followed the Primary held on Monday night, January 19.
UPP Political Leader Jamale Pringle warmly welcomed Dalso to his slate of Caretakers.

Although only 16 Branch members were eligible to vote, Pringle commended all who participated.
He said he was encouraged by their interest in restoring the St. George unit to its recent prominence.
Pringle expressed confidence in Dalso’s energy and commitment to lead the Branch forward.

Furthermore, he noted that Dalso can help keep the St. George seat within the United Progressive Party.
Pringle described Dalso as a son of St. George, a well-known businessman, and a team player.
He also highlighted that Dalso is no novice to politics or national affairs.
Recently, Dalso was called to the Bar of England and Wales, adding to his credentials.

In addition, MP Pringle extended appreciation to the other two contenders, Kem Riley and Jermaine Kentish.
He thanked them for their interest in representing the Party.
The Branch’s Executive was also commended for professionally handling the Primary process.

Dalso’s selection marks a new chapter for the St. George UPP unit.
The Party aims to strengthen the Branch and maintain voter confidence in the constituency.
