ABNA UK to Host 45th Independence Celebration in London
The Antigua and Barbuda National Association UK (ABNA) is preparing to celebrate Antigua and Barbuda’s 45th Independence anniversary with a dinner and dance in London on Saturday, November 14.
The event will take place at the Regency Banqueting Suite, with Antiguan soca artiste Claudette “CP” Peters scheduled to perform live. The celebration will run from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., with tickets priced at £85 and a formal black-tie dress code.
Founded in 1967, ABNA supports the Antiguan and Barbudan community in the United Kingdom through cultural, educational and community initiatives. Its work also includes strengthening connections between generations and maintaining ties with Antigua and Barbuda.
The association has also been involved in cultural activities such as a Warri Games Night, organised in partnership with the Antigua and Barbuda High Commission, and initiatives to encourage younger members of the diaspora to connect with their heritage.
