Antigua and Barbuda to Face Fourth UN Human Rights Review

Antigua and Barbuda is preparing for its fourth review of its human rights record before the United Nations Human Rights Council.

The review is part of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), a process through which all UN member states have their human rights practices examined by other countries.

During the review, Antigua and Barbuda’s record will be assessed alongside recommendations from previous reviews. The process provides an opportunity to report on progress and identify areas where further action may be needed.

The review is expected to involve the country’s commitments to protecting human rights and implementing recommendations made by the international community.
