Antigua & Barbuda St John’s Taxi Association Elects New Executive Board
Antigua & Barbuda St John’s Taxi Association Inc (SJTA) has chosen a new executive board. The election covers the 2026–2028 term.
First, members held their bi-annual elections on Tuesday, 5 May 2026. The vote took place at the Antigua & Barbuda Workers Union Hall.
In addition, members gathered to select new leadership. The process focused on stability and better service delivery.
As a result, the association confirmed a full executive team. This team will guide operations for two years.

Moreover, the association said the new board will improve coordination among taxi operators. It also aims to strengthen internal management.
At the same time, the leadership team plans to raise service standards for passengers. Therefore, members expect better organization across the sector.
In addition, the SJTA highlighted member support as a key priority. The new board will also focus on training and development.
Finally, the association said the election marks a fresh start. The executive board now begins its official term.
