LIAT Air is exploring the acquisition of smaller aircraft to support planned operations to Barbuda as the airline works to strengthen regional connectivity.

The airline is seeking 19-seat aircraft suitable for serving Barbuda’s travel needs, with the proposed expansion expected to improve transportation links between Antigua and Barbuda.

The move forms part of efforts to enhance reliable air access for the sister island while supporting tourism, business travel, and local mobility.

LIAT Air continues to evaluate options as it prepares to expand its services and provide more convenient regional air connections.
