American University of Antigua (AUA) has launched a free bootcamp designed to help aspiring students prepare for medical school while providing a direct pathway into its medical education programme.

The initiative aims to give participants a strong foundation in key academic areas required for success in medical studies. Through structured instruction and support, students will have the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and readiness for the demands of medical education.

According to AUA, the bootcamp is intended to expand access to medical training by removing some of the barriers that prospective students may face. Participants who complete the programme may become eligible for direct entry opportunities into the university’s medical school pathway.

University officials say the programme reflects AUA’s commitment to developing future healthcare professionals and creating more opportunities for students interested in pursuing careers in medicine.
