Trinidad and Tobago Featured in UK Crossroads Film Series

Trinidad and Tobago is being spotlighted in the United Kingdom through the Crossroads Film Series, which is showcasing films from the twin-island republic in cinemas. The initiative highlights Caribbean storytelling and gives international audiences a closer look at the country’s culture, history, and creative talent.

The series features a selection of films by Trinidad and Tobago filmmakers, exploring themes such as identity, community, and social issues. Organisers say the programme is designed to promote Caribbean cinema and create greater visibility for regional creatives on the global stage.

The program will run from May 8 to June 18, 2026, featuring a curated selection of films—including five UK premieres—across four venues: BEAM in Hertford, Depot in Lewes, Electric Palace in Hastings, and Towner Cinema in Eastbourne.
