Government Eyes Near EC$100M Jolly Beach Sale
The Government of Antigua and Barbuda says several potential buyers have expressed interest in acquiring the Jolly Beach property as efforts continue to finalize a sale.
Officials indicated that negotiations are ongoing and that the government is aiming for a transaction valued at close to EC$100 million. The sale is expected to support plans for redevelopment and renewed investment in the tourism sector.
Prime Minister Gaston Browne said the level of interest reflects confidence in Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism industry and the potential of the beachfront property.
The government has not yet announced a preferred buyer, but discussions are continuing as authorities seek the best outcome for the country.
