Antigua and Barbuda has officially unveiled its 45th Independence Celebrations Schedule of Events, inviting citizens and visitors alike to celebrate under this year’s theme, “Renaissance.”

The calendar features a vibrant mix of cultural, youth, and traditional national events kicking off with the Independence Church Service on Sunday, October 18. Major staples returning to the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium include the highly anticipated National Youth Rally on October 22, the National Food Fair, and the National Schools’ Panorama, both taking place on Sunday, October 25.

The celebrations will culminate on Sunday, November 1 with the traditional Independence Flag Ceremony in Barbuda and the grand Independence Ceremonial Parade back at the stadium. Organizers note that the schedule is currently tentative and subject to change as the nation builds excitement for 45 years of independence.
