Randy Baltimore Puts Newfield Roads First Priority
Randy Baltimore says Newfield roads will be his top priority in St. Philip North constituency during campaign period overall focus.
He spoke during an appearance on ABS Television programme Know Your Candidates discussion show during discussion now.
He highlighted infrastructure as key challenge facing residents across the constituency region also.
Newfield roads are aging and continue to deteriorate over time in area also.
He said road repairs will follow immediately after the general elections conclude moving forward also.
He emphasized Newfield will remain his primary focus for road infrastructure upgrades also.
Also, he noted that road works have already started in some communities in affected areas also.
Contractors are currently deployed in Newfield and Zion Hill to improve access for road upgrades also.
Additionally, he mentioned improvements following the recent by-election across the constituency and recent works at present.
He said these efforts aim to improve access and daily commuting conditions for residents daily also.
Moreover, he referenced the road leading to Stingray City tourist attraction area within constituency area also.
He called the road’s former condition deplorable for many years before improvements over many years long term.
However, he said it has now been graded, rolled, and paved recently ahead of season recently completed.
He credited the Ministry of Works and local contractors for ongoing efforts in infrastructure works by teams.
Furthermore, he said infrastructure upgrades are continuous rather than one-off interventions in government projects overall system.
He stressed that road improvement is a continuous infrastructure development process overall long process.
He added that road conditions affect residents and also support tourism activity in daily usage.
Also, he linked infrastructure improvements directly to broader economic activity growth in economic growth sector.
He is contesting St. Philip North seat in general election on April 30 in upcoming vote general election.
He recently won the by-election with roughly 70 percent of the vote in recent contest electoral race.
