Stakeholders Engage in US$125M Early Warning Project
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has engaged stakeholders in Antigua and Barbuda as part of the US$125 million Early Warnings for All (EW4All) project.
The initiative is designed to improve the country’s ability to prepare for and respond to natural hazards by strengthening early warning systems, risk monitoring, and emergency communications.
Government agencies, technical experts, and community representatives participated in discussions focused on identifying priorities and ensuring the project addresses local needs and vulnerabilities.
Officials say the programme will help build resilience to climate-related threats while enhancing efforts to protect lives, property, and critical infrastructure.
