Motorists Face Overnight Detours on All Saints Road
Motorists will face overnight detours on All Saints Road as major infrastructure works continue.
The Ministry of Works said the project area stretches between Belmont Clinic and Bellevue Heights Service Station.
The detour begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Meanwhile, the traffic changes will remain in place until 7:00 a.m. on Thursday.
Drivers traveling out of town should continue along All Saints Road, near the Belmont Clinic and Bellevue Heights Service Station.
However, motorists heading into town must turn left at Bellevue Heights Service Station. They can then regain access to All Saints Road.
In addition, flag persons will direct traffic throughout the work zone.
Officials also warned that some detour sections operate as one-way traffic areas. Therefore, commuters should follow all posted signs carefully.
Meanwhile, local access will remain available for residents living near the construction site.
The Ministry also urged motorists to drive carefully because heavy-duty equipment will operate near the roadworks.
Despite the construction, all businesses in the area will remain open.
The works form part of the ongoing All Saints Road Project by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.
Furthermore, officials advised drivers to expect delays and adjust travel plans early.
