This year’s conference carries the theme, “Beyond Borders: Advancing Integrated Emergency Management Across the Caribbean.”

During the week, delegates will attend plenary sessions, panel discussions, and strategic meetings. Topics will include leadership, command presence, and risk mitigation.

Officials will also discuss strategic planning and the growing role of Geographic Information Systems in emergency response. Therefore, the conference aims to strengthen cooperation and improve emergency management practices across the region.

The gathering also allows regional fire officers to share experiences and discuss common challenges facing Caribbean territories.

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda is preparing to host the conference in 2027. As a result, the country is expected to play a larger role in future regional emergency management discussions.
