Antigua and Barbuda Students to Stay Safe in Jamaica Hotel

Antigua

Antigua and Barbuda students in Jamaica will stay in a hotel as Tropical Storm Melissa nears. The government arranged for them to stay at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel starting October 25, 2025. This will help keep them safe while the storm passes.

Students will share rooms with one other person. They will get free meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though some rules apply. To qualify, students must show their Antigua and Barbuda passport and student ID. They can check in from midday on October 25.

Officials will review the situation after the storm moves on. If needed, the Prime Minister said a special flight will bring students back home. This plan makes sure students are cared for until it is safe to travel again.
