Earlier in the day, he visited several polling stations. He observed steady voter movement. As a result, he described the process as smooth.

Furthermore, he noted that turnout appeared steady. He said voters were arriving throughout the day. However, he acknowledged concerns about voter apathy.

Still, he expressed hope for strong participation. He said the numbers could be “pleasing.” In addition, he urged hesitant voters to come forward.

“If you are not comfortable, vote against me,” he said. “If you are comfortable, vote for me.” Thus, he encouraged free choice.

Moreover, he outlined key national issues. He pointed to the high cost of living. He also highlighted road conditions and water shortages.

He said these issues require urgent attention. Therefore, he promised action within the first 100 days if elected. He described this as part of a “people first” approach.
