MBS Continues Transition to EFT as Cheque Payments Are Phased Out
MBS is continuing its move to Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for beneficiary claim reimbursements. Meanwhile, cheque payments are being phased out.
Therefore, beneficiaries are encouraged to switch to EFT for faster, safer, and more convenient payments. In addition, the process reduces delays and risks associated with traditional cheque processing.
Beneficiaries can start the transition through Customer Service. Alternatively, they can download the EFT form from the MBS website at www.mbs.gov.ag/v2/forms/.
After completing the form, individuals must submit it with their banking details to mbseft@mbs.gov.ag. This ensures payments go directly into their bank accounts.
Furthermore, the shift to EFT allows beneficiaries to receive reimbursements more quickly. It also eliminates the need to wait for mail delivery or visit the office to collect cheques.
For assistance, MBS has provided dedicated phone lines. Beneficiaries can call 481-6200 or 6413 for guidance on submitting their EFT forms.
Additionally, the MBS team encourages everyone to ensure their banking information is accurate. This helps prevent payment errors and ensures timely deposit of funds.
Moreover, EFT aligns with MBS’s broader strategy to modernize its payment systems. Consequently, it enhances efficiency and improves overall service delivery to beneficiaries.
Finally, beneficiaries are reminded that cheque reimbursements will no longer be available soon. Thus, transitioning to EFT promptly is essential to avoid disruptions in receiving payments.
In summary, MBS’s shift to EFT represents a safer, faster, and more convenient reimbursement system. Beneficiaries should act quickly by submitting forms to enjoy uninterrupted service.
