Antigua Falcons Unveil Core Squad for CPL 2026

Antigua and Barbuda Falcons have started revealing key players for the 2026 Caribbean Premier League season.

The franchise announced several regional stars as preparations continue for CPL 2026. Moreover, the team said it is building a strong squad for the upcoming tournament.

Among the players confirmed are West Indies cricketers Evin Lewis, Fabian Allen, Alzarri Joseph, Amir Jangoo, Jayden Seales, and Shamar Springer.

In a social media campaign, the Falcons described the squad as “built with Caribbean fire.”

“A strong core of regional stars is set to represent the Falcons as we gear up for CPL 2026,” the franchise stated.

Meanwhile, the team also confirmed the return of coach Paul Nixon for the new season.

The Falcons praised Nixon’s coaching experience and success in franchise cricket. In addition, the team highlighted his previous CPL achievements with the Jamaica Tallawahs.

Promotional material shared by the franchise also pointed to Nixon’s reported 63 percent win rate in franchise T20 cricket.

Furthermore, the Falcons said Nixon has helped build successful teams in several countries.

The franchise has also launched a new marketing campaign ahead of the tournament. Its latest slogan reads, “Come for the fete. Stay for the match.”

“The vibes are back, the music is louder, and the cricket is bigger than ever,” another promotional post stated.

The Falcons are expected to continue adding players as franchises across the region finalize preparations for CPL 2026.
