Police are searching for three masked gunmen after an armed robbery at a Cashew Hill barbershop on Saturday afternoon.

The suspects entered the shop while customers were inside. They then stole cash and jewellery from the owner and patrons. Afterward, they fled the scene quickly.

Meanwhile, police confirmed that gunshots rang out during the robbery. At least two shots hit the building. Bullet holes remain inside the shop. In addition, stray bullets struck a nearby home. Thankfully, no one suffered injuries.

The shop owner, Padmore Jeremiah, and customers felt strong fear during the attack. Residents nearby also heard the gunfire in the area.

Soon after the incident, police arrived and secured the crime scene. Officers collected evidence and began interviewing witnesses.

However, investigators have not yet released any suspect descriptions. They continue to search for leads in the case.

Police believe witnesses may hold key information. Therefore, they are urging the public to come forward.
