UWI Five Islands Honours Over 400 Graduates in Lifelong Learning

UWI

The University of the West Indies (UWI) Five Islands Campus recently celebrated a major achievement in lifelong learning. Over 400 students graduated from its LifeLong Learning Unit. This event marks one of the largest groups to complete professional development courses at the campus.

The graduation ceremony was held with great excitement and pride. Governor General Sir Rodney Williams and other officials were present to honor the graduates. The head of the unit noted that more people are eager to improve their skills each year. This shows a strong desire in Antigua and Barbuda for continued growth and career advancement.

Top students were recognized for their hard work, including Mrs. Nickishia Carr-Ramkellawan, who earned the highest average. The campus registrar encouraged the graduates to carry their success with humility and respect for others. She reminded them that listening and understanding are key to making a positive impact in their communities. Kwamei Dubidad served as an award recipient and chairperson of the commemorative event.
