A Syrian national is being treated for gunshot wounds at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre after a robbery at his restaurant in Pares Village.

Police reported that the victim, owner of Habile Restaurant on Pares Main Road, was attacked during a late-night robbery on Thursday. Details of the incident remain limited as investigations continue.

Emergency services responded quickly and transported the man to the hospital. He remains under medical care, though his condition has not been disclosed.

Authorities have launched a full investigation into the robbery. So far, no arrests have been made. Additionally, police have not confirmed whether cash or other items were taken during the attack.
