Defending champions Sandals Antigua opened their 2025 Business Basketball League campaign with an impressive 71-50 win over Fearless Security Services. Tshawn Lewis led the charge with 18 points, while Selassie Brathwaite added 14 points, four assists, and four steals. Keroi Lee contributed 11 points and 13 rebounds, helping Sandals secure a comfortable victory.

In the league’s opening game, Antigua Power Company (APC) defeated J&J Company Landscaping Services 66-40. Amare Browne scored 20 points for APC, with support from Aiden Crawford and Ammiel Williams, who combined for 30 points and 14 rebounds. Dwayne Samuel led the scorers for J&J with 11 points.

The league, organized by the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA), continues to provide a platform for local businesses to showcase talent and foster team spirit. Fans turned out to cheer the players, marking an exciting start to the season in Antigua and Barbuda.
