Man Shawn Richards of Old Road was granted bail after facing three cannabis-related charges on Tuesday.

He appeared before Chief Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel, accompanied by his attorney, Damien Benjamin. The court set bail at $250,000.

Of this amount, $10,000 must be paid in cash. Additionally, Richards must provide two local sureties.

As part of the bail conditions, he must report daily to Johnson’s Point Police Station between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Furthermore, Richards must remain at his Old Road residence. He is prohibited from traveling and must avoid all contact with witnesses.

The three charges against him include cultivating, possessing, and being concerned in supplying cannabis plants.
