Lakeea Allen is the first recipient of the Eustace Hill STEM Scholarship, launched by Antigua and Barbuda’s Board of Education to honour education pioneer Eustace Hill. This scholarship honours Eustace Hill, a respected education pioneer. It supports students studying Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Lakeea Allen is the first recipient of this award. She is studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Derby in the UK. Lakeea plans to use her education to promote renewable energy and sustainability in Antigua and Barbuda.

This scholarship aims to encourage more students to enter STEM fields. It highlights the country’s commitment to education and innovation for a better future.
