Another 16-year-old boy in the vehicle was injured and is receiving medical treatment. Meanwhile, two teenage girls who were also in the car ran from the scene.

Police confirmed the teenage driver suffered the more serious injuries. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene. They secured the area and provided first aid to the injured teens. Both were transported to the hospital for further care.
