Jamaica Win Women’s Super50 Cup
Jamaica’s women’s cricket team has won the 2026 Cricket West Indies Women’s Super50 Cup after a strong finish to the tournament. The title was sealed with an eight-wicket victory over the Leeward Islands in the final round of matches.
Batting first, the Leeward Islands were dismissed for 146 runs, with Reniece Boyce top scoring. Jamaica then chased the target comfortably, led by a solid opening partnership and steady contributions from experienced players.
Elsewhere on the final day, Guyana defeated the Windward Islands by six wickets, while Trinidad and Tobago beat Barbados using the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method. These results confirmed Jamaica as overall champions.
The victory strengthens Jamaica’s standing in regional women’s cricket and highlights the competitive nature of the West Indies Super50 tournament.
