Prime Minister Andrew Holness has outlined a national rebuild strategy focused on strengthening the economy and infrastructure of Jamaica. Speaking on the March 19 budget debate, he said the plan aims to improve resilience, boost productivity, and support long-term development.

The Prime Minister highlighted key areas including housing, road networks, and public services. He said the government will prioritise rebuilding efforts in vulnerable communities while also expanding opportunities for investment and job creation.

He also stressed the importance of discipline in public spending and maintaining economic stability. According to him, the rebuild strategy is designed to ensure sustainable growth while addressing existing social and economic challenges.

The plan comes as Jamaica continues to navigate global economic pressures, with leaders aiming to position the country for stronger recovery and future progress.
