Iran Rejects US Ceasefire Plan

Iran has rejected a United States proposal to end the ongoing war. Officials in Tehran said the plan was unfair and did not meet their basic conditions. Instead, Iran submitted its own proposal and said it will only agree to peace on its own terms.

The US plan was reportedly delivered through Pakistan and included several conditions for a ceasefire. However, Iranian leaders said it required too many concessions, including limits on their military strength, without clear guarantees in return. They described the proposal as one-sided.

Iran’s counter-plan includes its own demands, such as stronger guarantees against future attacks and control over key areas like the Strait of Hormuz. Officials also want compensation for damages caused during the conflict. For now, they have shown little interest in direct negotiations.

The conflict continues to escalate across the region, with ongoing attacks involving Iran, Israel, and other countries. While some nations are pushing for talks, both sides remain far apart, and there is no clear sign of a ceasefire soon.
