High Commission Launches Diaspora Podcast
The Antigua and Barbuda High Commission in London launched a new podcast series to celebrate the country’s 44th independence anniversary. The series, called “Voices on the Diaspora in the United Kingdom,” began on October 27, 2025. It was created with help from the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Board’s UK & Europe Office.
This podcast runs throughout November and highlights Antiguans and Barbudans making an impact in the UK. It covers various fields like business, arts, education, and event promotion. The first episode features Michaela Vivian, a digital creator and presenter.
High Commissioner Karen-Mae Hill spoke about the importance of the diaspora. She said the people abroad build solid foundations for the nation. Their talent and generosity help connect Antigua and Barbuda with the world. The podcast aims to share these stories and inspire pride in the community.
