Education

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Creative Industries has extended congratulations to Antigua and Barbuda’s top achievers in the 2025 Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations. The Ministry highlighted the students’ outstanding commitment, discipline, and academic excellence, noting that their performance reflects positively on the nation’s education system and the support systems that guide young scholars.

Kaylei John-Baptiste of Baptist Academy of Antigua was recognised as the top CSEC student for 2025. The Ministry described her success as inspirational, saying it demonstrates what can be achieved through hard work and focus. Kha-lique Harris of St. Joseph’s Academy placed second and was praised for a strong examination performance. Nayima Lewis, also of Baptist Academy of Antigua, secured the third position and was commended for exceptional consistency and effort.

In a message shared through the Education Broadcasting Unit, the Ministry also extended best wishes to all students who sat the 2025 CSEC exams. The statement acknowledged the role of teachers, school leadership, and families in helping students reach this milestone, and encouraged graduates to continue striving for academic and personal growth.
