Carnival Cruise Line has announced that the Carnival Freedom will be homeporting in Norfolk, Virginia, for its upcoming winter season. From there, the ship will sail to several Caribbean destinations, including Antigua and Barbuda.

The move is expected to strengthen Norfolk’s role as a growing cruise hub while expanding Carnival’s regional offerings. Passengers departing from Norfolk will enjoy access to Eastern Caribbean ports such as St. Thomas, San Juan, and Antigua, boosting visitor numbers for these islands during the busy winter months.
