APUA Helps Jamaica Recover After Hurricane Melissa
The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) is sending a team to Jamaica to help with hurricane recovery. This team will focus on restoring electricity, which is essential for daily life and rebuilding efforts.
Led by experienced supervisors, the team includes skilled lineworkers. They will work alongside the Jamaica Public Service to fix power lines and restore services. Their mission will last at least a month, showing strong support in a time of need.
This effort is part of a larger program where utility companies across the Caribbean help each other after disasters. It shows how cooperation can speed up recovery and bring relief to affected communities.
